Dry Heat Sterilizers for Manicure and Pedicure
Dry heat sterilizers for manicure and pedicure
Advice from Evelina masters: why do you need a dry heat sterilizer and why you can’t do without it
If you are doing a manicure in a salon, be sure to pay attention to whether the master has a dry heat sterilizer. Why is this so important? We explain in simple terms.
What is a dry heat sterilizer?
A dry heat sterilizer is a special sterilizer that destroys all bacteria, viruses and fungi using high temperatures. It works on the principle of hot air: the instruments are heated to 160-180 °C, and due to this they are completely disinfected.
Why is a dry heat sterilizer required in a manicure salon?
During a manicure and pedicure, the master works with the skin and nails. Sometimes micro-cuts, cracks, and wounds may appear. If the instruments are not processed properly, an infection can be introduced. Only sterilization in a dry heat sterilizer or autoclave guarantees complete safety.
Why is dry heat better than regular disinfection?
Disinfection solutions kill most bacteria, but not all viruses and fungal spores. But high temperatures can handle everything. That's why we at Evelina Studio use dry heat after each client.
How do you know that dry heat is really being used?
Pay attention to the packaging of the instruments. After sterilization, they are stored in special craft bags with indicators. During heat treatment, the indicator changes color - this is a sign that the temperature inside was right, which means the instruments are completely sterile.
Advice from the masters: Don't be shy about asking the master to show you the sterile bag. This is normal - you have every right to be confident in the safety of your health! At the Evelina studio, we do not skimp on your safety: after each client, all metal instruments undergo a full cycle of cleaning, disinfection and, of course, sterilization in a dry heat sterilizer.
Beautiful manicure and pedicure - it is always about beauty without risk to health!
